This project was for the RAAF air force base at Tindal near Darwin in NT.
It was a complex job with 11 3 phase transformers ranging in Kva from 350kva to 2500kva.
The voltage ratings were 11kv/415v 3 ph , with +/-2.5and 5% taps on the HV side.
All the transformers were epoxy cast/ air cooled and indoor rated. The insulation class was class F (155 Deg C). The manufacturing standard was AS/NZS 60076.11 “ Dry Type Power Transformers”
All units had separate input and output cable boxes.
The complexity was the cable box design, that had to accommodate some very large 3 phase cables .
