With decades of longevity & resilience, 2022 marks a milestone for Tortech as Australia’s leading transformer manufacturer.
Established in 1987, Tortech in Sydney by Michael Larkin, Tortech originally specialised in toroidal transformers.
In the decades following it has branched out to include three phase transformers, railway isolation transformers, voltage regulators, three phase converters, medical transformers and a variety of innovative new products.
With and established R&D program and close affiliation with UNSW and Engineers Australia, Michael Larkin wishes to expand his transfer of knowledge to the next generation of engineering students and looking forward to the future of the company as it continues to grow in the Asia pacific market place.
