A pure sine-wave output with x 3 the surge power to enable smooth operation of appliances, such as fridges, washing machines & pumps. 

 

Our transformer based inverters have key design advantages over electronic inverters:

Quality standards

1. High Surge Power:

Surge power rating is 3x rated load power for a period of 20sec minimum. This rating is very important and suitable for motor application ie starting large motors. Eg a 3000wat transformer inverter can deliver 9000watt for 20sec. A electronic inverter rated at continuous 3000watt will  deliver 6000 watt  for less than 0.5secs. Transformer based inverter can absorb a larger output power rating for a longer time where as electronic inverters often shut down often due to over current or over temperature
 

2. Robust design:

The inverter is designed in a robust housing. The unit is highly reliable as there are no free standing components on PCB boards that could become loose due to vibration (which often happens with electrical inverters in vehicles).

3. High Efficiency - Ultra Low Idle Current & Power Saving:

This inverter when operated in power saving mode and  senses for load every 3 seconds and conserves energy when no load is  connected. If the load is not present then the input DC current to the  inverter is kept very low.  If the inverter is not in power savings mode the idle current is still  low due to new transformer core loss design characteristics. 
These two conditions will preserve the battery charge and life as the inverter is not drawing large idle power from the battery.   Read  more

4. Generator start feature: Automatically starts generator when the battery voltage reaches low levels. Increases lifetime of battery. Read  more
 
5. High Quality transformer: 180deg class insulation (high temperature design). Extra safe isolation input to output. Quality magnetic core.

6. Four Step intelligent battery charging: Multi stage charging algorithm for optimal battery charging.

7. Isolation: Isolation between the input DC side of the inverter & the output AC side of  the inverter is achieved via the transformer 
 
8. Intelligent Load Sensing Fan:  As the load increases the speed of the fan increases  the speed of the change changes as a a result of the load this allows for quieter operation and longevity of the fan.

9. Automatic Voltage Regulation:   instead of the AC voltage varing as the DC battery voltage varies the output AC  voltage will stay steady.

      tick.gif Inbuilt Safety Protection - our transformer inverters have a circuit breaker on the DC and AC side. This provides short circuit protection under all conditions.

      tick.gif 3 stage battery charger incorporated into the inverter. So when the 240v AC is available on the AC side you are able to charge the battery which is connected on the DC side.  (something an electronic inverter can not do)
