Transformer Safety details:
1) External fuse to cover any short circuit condition on the load
2) Thermal overload switch built into thew winding of the transformer. It operates at 125 Reg C
This will handle an overload condition that the fuse us unable to discriminate
3) Core of the transformer is connected to the earth of the input. This will make sure any earth of the input.
This will sure any earth fault is detected by the residual current device on the 240v side.
4) The output socket has an earth connected. This is for safety of the Voltage between the neutral and earth (on the 110v side) is negligible.
5)We guarantee the active is always the switched circuit. This is very important for safety.
If the neutral was connected to the switch (on the 110v side) this could prove very dangerous
